A Feast For The Eyes

Don't believe the negative comments, the movie was amazing. Weather you are a true SATC fan or not you will like the film. It consists many feelings all together. The reason why I am writing this blog is of course because of the movie's incredible fashion sense. To be honest some clothes were horrid but still it was a feast for the eyes as every episode of SATC. Great storyline, great casting, great fashion and great sex. What can I say more. Definitely a must see. Here are some snapshots of the movie, so that you can have an idea about the closet of SATC.

YSL’s Most Loved By Hollywood Shoes, The Tribute Toos, Are Branching Out

It’s hard to look at any paparazzi shots without seeing the YSL Tribute Too pumps. Now, YSL is capitalizing on the popular pumps by releasing them in five new limited edition colours (silver, bronze, gold, navy and red) that are sold exclusively on YSL.com for $795 to $895. ( To be honest I prefer the older ones. They are not my colours i guess. I'd go with more simple colours like
nude or black )

The Dresses To Die For

I did a little bit research so as to find the best dress women of the year. These are the dresses I loved. How you enjoy it too.

Way to work it. Camilla Belle looked extraordinary. I can't stop staring. The kaleidoscope print dress is amazing.

When you have a great body, why cover it up? Gisele’s surely not covering or hiding her willowy best paid model self. For the Met’s Costume Institute Gala, Gisele Bundchen had a breathtaking backless Versace Dress.

Leave it to leggy Gisele to bring sexy to the Met stage. Check out the Super sporting a shimmery sequined blue mini by Versace and matching peep-toe booties. The detailed bodice gives her dress structure while a flapper-inspired hem creates flirty movement.

The dress is from Marchesa's Spring/Summer 2010 collection, which only just debuted at New York Fashion Week last September. Wilde paired the gown with a Marchesa clutch, Kwiat jewellery, and a simple chignon hair style.

Only thing I can say is WOW the dress is from Elie Saab's Spring Collection 2010, I adore the nude colored pumps it's so in this year.
It's the battle of the television bombshells: House's Olivia Wilde vs 90210 hottie Annalynne McCord. Both bringing sexy back in this straptastic Kimberly Ovitz LBD. Who wins it in primetime and brings home the big ratings? I will go with Annalynne sorry Olivia. I like the nude colored shoes matching with the black dress more but there's something missing in her case. I just can't put my finger on it. I guess Annalynne's face looks more fierce and that goes with the dress.

Wow that just looks fierce. I love the open back. It's Herve Leger wrap dress obviously. She looks so good in it. I like looking tanned and wearing black still. I am not a big fan of her shoes but they look alright.

My New Hair Do: Chignons

Hair buns, also known as "chignons", are very easy hairstyles and can be made to look elegant as well as casual and fun.The chignon is a great "updo" hair style for a special occasion. It shows off your neck and shoulders, and highlights your cheekbones as well as the great earrings or necklace you are wearing! It just depends on how securely you pin the bun. A casual hair bun can be done easily without a mirror and works on all hair lengths. Gather hair like a ponytail and wrap around the base of the ponytail, then secure loosely with a hair tie or a hair clip. For a more elegant hair bun, gather hair in to a ponytail, tightly. Begin to twist your hair until it naturally begins to wrap around the ponytail. Secure tightly with an elegant hair clip or with bobby pins.

Vivienne Westwood to emerge with Melissa

Vivienne Westwood and Melissa are teaming up again for SS10, and have transformed the Ultragirl. This flat Melissa shoe is made from latte tone PVC and features a black seal on the toe with a Vivienne Westwood Orb. It is so comfortable you can easily wear it with bare feet. And the nudish pinkish colour suits with your almost every cloth gives a sophisticated look.

Absolutement Belle d'année

Loves it. The best lipstick ever. From Nars - Belle De Jour

Balmain at Spring 2010 Fashion Week

Christophe Decarnin is the man on whose glittery, highly padded shoulders rests the success of the whole of the mass market as it currently stands. It's a known phenomenon that the cost of a single one of his jackets ($9,000 or thereabouts) could pay for an entire wardrobe of Balmain knockoffs for ten teenage girls, but no matter: He is hot. His models are scorching. And if what he does is the opposite of intellectual, it's also so clever it's simultaneously fueling spending frenzies up-market and down-. In terms of the general sequins-for-day trend, Balmain's influence is visible almost every which way you care to look in a chain store. For Spring, Decarnin brought out another whammy of a no-brainer blockbuster: disco cavewoman goes to the front. His army of sizzling, sleek-limbed supergirls strode out with huge-shouldered, metal-epauletted military tailcoats. Their T-shirts were tattered; bullet belts were slung around artfully "destroyed," stained, and holed jeans or, yet more sensationally, minute, hypersexed, raggedy suede and leather loincloths (the term "skirt" hardly covers it). Patching together seventies M*A*S*H and early Versace chain-mailed goddess-dressing, the show moved from camouflage to sequined camouflage to patchworked gold-sequined camouflage without a flicker of irony or the slightest fear of treading on politically sensitive ground. Some schools of thought will condemn that outright. Others will argue, purely on taste grounds, that wearing a belt with bullets arranged in a flower pattern or a military shirt with shrapnel holes filled in with gold patches is a fashion misdemeanor worthy of ten days in the slammer. And yet, none of that is likely to have the slightest effect on the runaway success of this Balmain collection.

Herve Leger Did It Again

Karl Lagerfeld says that people prefer skinny models and I cannot agree with him more. Herve Leger's swimwear collection was definitely a wow factor here are some of the pictures.

Chloé Silverado Leather Shoes

Versatile town shoes from Chloé which have become the signature style for fall. Words can not describe!!! Perrrrfect for Spring (if you live in London i guess!!! :) and they are sooo in this year!! I don't like the ones open at the back but these are totally my style. They come in two colours; black and brown. Their price was £350 but now they are in sale and they are £250. Verry comfortable. I highly recommend them guys. And good news you can match them with your new LV scarf :)

Louis Vuitton Leopard Print Scarf

Animal prints are always a way of making a fashion statement, for instance, the most sought-after python handbags. For the coming fall and winter one of the hottest trends is leopard print which will be the most predominant animal pattern in coming seasons. Besides the clothing, a great many designers have released a variety of leopard and animal print shoes, handbags, scarves and other accessories. Oh my! It is an amazing scarf. This sophisticated cashmere and silk stole features the directional leopard print created for Louis Vuitton by American artist Stephen Sprouse. Definitely a splurge (£460), but worths it. I purchased it yesterday and loved it. The fabric is amazing and there is a pink "Louis Vuitton" writing at the very end. You can purchase it from Louis Vuitton's official web site here.

Make up tutoriaL.. stay tuned for more.

Even though I don't really approve of the Kim Kardashian's choices of living I cannot deny that she is beautiful with makeup! That's why I did a little bit of a research and found this in her website and I am quoting everything however you will see my comments because I did a little research on the market as well:) As to understand which brand is good and how much is it..

Here we go...

- A MAKEUP LESSON FROM KIM KARDASHIAN

Just so everyone knows, my make up artist Stephen Moleski has pretty much taught me everything I know.

Remember that everyone's color is different so please ask someone at the store where you purchase your makeup what works for you. Even if you think we have the same skin coloring, our tones can be different and I don't want anyone to waste money on concealer or foundation colors that aren't absolutely perfect!

STEP 1: I always start with a clean face. Then I put on Intuit 'Photo Shoot.' Intuit is a great company and I love the names of their products. Photo Shoot is a make up primer. I put it on after my moisturizer, which basically is like a moisturizer that will fill the pours on your face which will help set the foundation so it will last longer.
(i use Elizabeth Arden's makeup primer which is £30 and I love it very much.It really makes your face smooth and foundation goes evenly and as a moisturizer I prefer Bioderm it is so freaking good.!)
STEP 2: I use Cle De Peau concealer stick (it's super expensive, but works for me). It comes in two colors, I use Ocre, which is the darker of the two. I also use M.A.C. concealer (which comes in a little pot) if I run out of Cle de Peau. Everyone's color is different but I use NW25. I put the concealer under my eyes because I absolutely hate dark circles! I also use concealer to cover up blemishes!
(oh my, Cle De Peau is just so expensive it is around £65 and hard to find so I bought MAC one as a concealer i also use MAC but mine is liquid believe me its way better NW25. I use it before putting foundation so foundation does her job even better :)
STEP 3: After I put the concealer on I put on Make Up Forever liquid foundation. I mix one pump of No. 5 and two pumps of No. 4. I also have No. 3 for the winter time when I am really pale. I mix the foundations to get the perfect color. I blend them with the coolest make up brush. Its the M.A.C. brush No. 180.
(I use mac again it is called satin finish foundation NC40 i am a little bit lighter than her so it goes good with my skin MAC's studio fix one is too obvious for me it looks so not natural. MAC doesn't have 180 they either have 187 or 190 for liquid get the 187 one)
STEP 4: Since I hate dark circles, after the foundation, I put on a little more concealer just under my eyes since the foundation makes it darker under my eyes. I use a lighter concealer from M.A.C. NW30 in a little lipstick tube-looking container and I select 'moisture cover.'
(this NW30 is too dark for me I use NC35 its also in a little lipstick tube)
STEP 5: To set the foundation I lightly brush on with a big powder brushM.A.C. Select Sheer Pressed Powder NC 30, then to make me a little tanner I lightly brush on M.A.C. Powder NW 45.
(I use the same powder but I don't the powder is necessary really)
STEP 6: Now its blush time! I'm obsessed with blush! I use a color calledGingerly to warm me up and give me a little color and then add a pink color called Cheek to give me rosey cheeks. I just started getting into cream blush and find it works a lot better and lasts a lost longer.
(I use again MAC's true glace its shimmering and it shines really good it gives you a bronze color i love it)
STEP 7: Time for the eyes! My favorite part! I first put down a M.A.C. Paintpot in a light color that matches my skin called Painterly. I just use my finder and put enough onto cover the lid. This creamy shadow makes it so that the powder eye shadow does not crease. Like, if you wear make up all day you will see that the eye shadow begins to crease and get oily, but if you put this paint color down first it won't! I love cream shadow and use the color cream pots too! I love colored shadow; so it depends on the color depend of shadow I plan to wear: If it's black smokey I use Carbon by M.A.C.; if its grey smokey I use Knight Divine or Print; if it's bown smokey I use Embark by M.A.C. I love a fresh shimmery look as well and use M.A.C. Pigment calledTan. Its so pretty! I love bright colors for eye make up! I absolutely love Make Up Forever and don't think anyone does pigment colors better than them. So again, depending on what color you feel like wearing, go look at Make Up Forever's colors to choose from.
(definitely use a paintpot it gives a long lasting effect, nothing to comment on here other than that hmmm lastly I dont really use black I also have carbon but it's not very good most of the time I mix Brun and Brown Down and I put a little bit Honesty on the tops it looks really good trust me, I also have tan and I think it is way too shimmery and hard to use)
STEP 8: I always use black pencil eyeliner. My favorite is Stilla black pencil.
(black pencil eyeliner is good i use Chanel or Christian Dior but Chanel's pencil is AMAZING
STEP 9: Now its mascara time! Putting on mascara completes the look, but I have it when I mess up and get it on my eye lid and mess up the eye shadow. I used to use Lancome Hypnose, and still do, but I recently started to use M.A.C. Zoom mascara -- which is amazing! I take my time and put coat after coat. I love to layer mascaras so I will probably start with the M.A.C. Zoom and then put Lancome Hypnose on top. I always use a seperator brush to seperate my lashes. I am completely clueless on how to put false lashes on, so I only wear them for photo shoots sometimes.
(without separator brush all mascaras are bad believe me I tried every type it didn't work for me till I get a seperator brush you can find it everywhere I bought mine in Boots for £12 I use L'Oreal's Voluminiser it is pretty good, Definitely for the carbon black eye lovers.)
STEP 10: The final touch is putting on lipstick! I usually use M.A.C. Liplinercalled Stripdown (I use it very lightly) and a lipstick called Angel and putNars Turkish Delight lipgloss on top. Or for my very nude matte lip I wearNars Belle De Jour and I line my lips first with M.A.C. Subculture lipliner.
(I don't use lipliner but MAC's sculpture is good, I totally love NARS Belle De Jour its the best thing ever!!! Angel is also good from MAC

Hope you enjoy it and will be helpful to you guys:) Any questions???
That completes the Kim Kardashian make up lesson!
